Formula 1 Rule Changes

I must confess that although very happy that Fernando Alonso won the 2010 Bahrain GP; the race seemed strange.
I have been watching Formula 1 since the late 70's; so I have seen just about everything changed in F1... but this time around it seemed like I was watching something other than a Formula 1 race at times...
I also understand that it's the 1st race, that there are new teams, and so on...
But the 2010 Bahrain GP was definitely a bit boring!
